Makes a great gift!

Makes a great stocking stuffer for anyone who likes legos! Took my fiance about 45-60 minutes to put it together. The pieces are very delicate though, so be careful!

Clear process, extra pieces, and fun end result

Overall I liked this and it's sturdy without issue. It did take some getting used to but after a few pieces I had the knack for it.The pieces - There were extras of a few of the smaller pieces like the ones used for the multiple cars that go on the wheel. This is good because I definitely had my first couple flake a bit. They didn't fully snap, but it was like a layer of the pressed wood came apart from the top left side of the bar. It was still usable and I didn't use another because I didn't realize there were any extras at that point. The first few did that, which might have just been that those ones were weaker, or maybe since they were the first ones I pushed out of the wooden holder sheet I was doing it in some poor form. From my experience, I recommend pushing slowly and from the connection points on whatever piece you're getting (typically around the ends, but you can usually see them on the bigger pieces). The wood - It was generally easy to work with, though I was worried at first that I would need some wood glue as well for some areas. I did not! Some of the way things connect was awkward and a bit unclear but I trusted the process and it's come out okay. Some of the cars for the wheel are a bit stiff or loose, but they generally all work the same and have some good swing. The wood had some little burrs on it from the connection points sometimes, which wasn't usually an issue but there was a little square of sandpaper provided which I did use on some of the bigger burrs to smooth it out a bit. The color is a consistent light wood with the edges being a medium brown wood color. This gives a nice effect in the end when fully assembled. The process - This was not always easy. xD There were a lot of sections that required some very careful holding to ensure things didn't fall off or misalign, and then some quick force to snap them into place before it all fell apart. I did this alone in about an hour and a half taking my time, but there were times when a second pair of hands would have been useful to hold up two halves while I snapped in the middle bar for example. Still I did get it done. The finished product - The weirdest thing about this is that the wheel only pushes in one direction. If you go the opposite way, the cars on the wheel get stuck on the carriage on the ground. This is as designed for some reason, and it doesn't really cause a problem, but it was pretty odd to discover. Still, when I push it the correct direction it moves smoothly and the cars dangle. Some of theme will get a little stuck or not fully dangle at a certain position on the wheel, but they reset on their own quickly once in an easier spot. The cars make a ticking sound as they bump over the carriage and I actually really love that. The tactile feel of it, the sound of the cars dangling and bumping over the carriage, and the smooth movement all make me smile every time I send it on a round or two. You could probably paint this but I will not because I know I'll make it hideous.Recommended for teens and up since it was a bit fiddly to do some of the assembly parts.

Fun and looks nice..

These are fun to put together and they look very nice once completed. My son loves tedious tasks like this. They keep him engaged and challenged, plus he has a rewarding piece to display.

Fun and Challenging Build

I had a blast putting together this 3D puzzle. The pieces are well-cut and fit smoothly, though it does require some patience to get everything right. The instructions are clear, and while it’s challenging at times, that’s part of the fun. Once completed, it looks fantastic as a decorative piece. The moving parts add a cool, interactive touch that sets it apart from other puzzles. Overall, it's a perfect project for anyone who enjoys handcrafting and a bit of a challenge.
